Jerid “Max” Prater is a rising Senior in the School of the Arts at Virginia Commonwealth University, presently pursuing a BFA in Filmmaking and Photography. Jerid’s work is his attempt to shed light on the inner-workings of the post-adolescent mind – dealing with his own feelings of fear, doubt, identity, and heartache. He prefers to emphasize composition and color as opposed to adhering to rigid and established techniques, especially in his video work.  Jerid is currently spending for a semester abroad at Napier University in Edinburgh, Scotland, where he hopes to finally finish that music video he’s been talking about.
